Terms & Conditions for availing Buyback / Exchange at Proffini

• All requests for services / buyback / exchange of the good(s) or complaints pertaining to the goods should be accompanied with the tax invoice mentioning the name of the person/entity (herein after referred to as "Invoice") making the request/complaint along with a valid Government issued photo identity.
• Goods once sold will be accepted for buyback / exchange after due examination of damage, weight, and originality. The decision of the Company with respect to the buyback/exchange shall be final and binding. The scheme is applicable for all Consumers (herein after referred to as "customer") purchasing Proffini Fine Jewels Pvt Ltd. (the "Company") jewellery either directly or indirectly through the Company's Retail Partners, Business Associates, and others (herein after referred to as "Retailer").
• Good(s) sold by the Company can be exchanged/bought back at the company premise for other good(s) of the same or higher value, provided:
  • The good(s) is in the same condition in which it was sold.
  • The invoice is produced along with the relevant certificate of the said good(s). Returning the certificate is mandatory, loss of certificate would result in a deduction towards the cost of certification.
  • The good(s) are returned with the solitaire certificate (if availed at the time of purchase).
  • A government issued photo identity of the person is produced.
  • The good(s) has not been tampered with or altered by any party other than the Company.
  • No complaints will be entertained by the Company if:
    • The good is damaged or has been mishandled by the customer.
    • The good is altered or repaired by a person not authorized by the Company further all benefits towards the product will be nullified.
  • In case of product shipped to us for exchange or buyback, the Company will charge a nominal shipping charge of 2% of the product value or the actual shipping cost whichever is lower.
  • Goods shall be returned or exchanged under Proffini’s Exchange/Buyback scheme only after 6 months from the original date of purchase.
  • Any dispute arising out of the transaction will be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.

  Exchange scheme for Gold and Diamond jewellery

  • The Company shall provide an exchange scheme to every customer. Under this scheme, Good(s) can be returned by customers to Retailer or Company for another product of value equal to or more than:
  • 100% of prevailing market price of gold or any other metal used - plus.
  • 100% of prevailing market price of specific quality lab-grown diamonds studded in jewellery.
  • No money will be refunded in case newly purchased goods are of a value lower than exchanged Goods.
  • In case any E-point/rewards/discount given during original purchase, equivalent amount shall be deducted from market value of lab-grown diamonds.
  • Labour charges, certification charges, stamping charges and/or design charges shall be excluded while determining buyback value.
  • Cost of semi-precious or precious gemstones and/or pearls shall be excluded while determining buyback value.
  • The refund amount shall exclude all applied taxes at time of purchase.
  • The Company shall take a minimum period of 15 working days for completion:
    • To initiate an exchange of a product purchased online, please contact our customer service team at +91 9892300778 / customercare@proffini.com.
    • Once approved, you can return the item to our store or via mail using the provided return label.
    • Upon receiving the returned item, our quality assurance team will inspect it to ensure it meets our exchange criteria. Based on our quality inspection, we reserve the right to change the value of the product after giving a justification for the same.
    • The value of the exchanged product will be credited to your Proffini account (within 15 working days from the day of receipt of product at Proffini premises).
    • Consumer can purchase any other product with the same amount as soon as the amount is credited. If the new item is of greater value, you will be required to pay the difference. This value cannot be encashed.
    • For mail exchanges, please ensure the item is securely packaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. The Company is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.

  Buyback scheme for Gold and Diamond jewellery

  • The Company shall provide a buyback scheme to every customer. Under this scheme, Good(s) can be returned by customers to Retailer or Company for a refund payment totalling:
  • 100% of prevailing market price of gold or any other metal used - plus.
  • 80% of prevailing market price of specific quality lab-grown diamonds studded in jewellery.
  • In case any E-point/rewards/discount given during original purchase, equivalent amount shall be deducted from market value of lab-grown diamonds.
  • Labour charges, certification charges, stamping charges and/or design charges shall be excluded while determining buyback value.
  • Cost of semi-precious or precious gemstones and/or pearls shall be excluded while determining buyback value.
  • The refund amount shall exclude all applied taxes at time of purchase.
  • The buyback scheme and re-imbursement of payment shall be subject to quality check conducted on Goods by Company. The Company shall take a minimum period of 20 (twenty) days for entire process:

    • Once approved, you can return item to our store or via mail using provided return label.
    • Upon receiving returned item, our quality assurance team will inspect it to ensure it meets our exchange criteria. Based on our quality inspection, we reserve right to change value after giving justification for same.
    • The value of returned product will be credited to your bank account (within 20 working days from day receipt at Proffini premises).
    • All payments for buyback value paid by Company will be made through RTGS or NEFT only. Payments shall be made only to person/entity mentioned in invoice issued by Retailer carrying valid government issued photo ID.
    • For mail exchanges, please ensure item is securely packaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. The Company is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
  
  

  Proffini Fine Jewels reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
